   Hardwood Floors has two primary categories, which are Engineered Hardwood, and Solid Hardwood. They both have different price points, and each offer distinct benefits. The precision, care, and techniques of Hardwood Flooring Installation is a major part of getting the end result that you deserve and the look that you want to achieve. Camarillo Interiors does it all when it comes to flooring.

   Many people do not realize that if you have a scratch, dent, mark or a few damaged pieces of engineered wood, they can simply be replaced. That is why it is good to make sure if you have a few extra pieces of hardwood floor left over, after your installation, to keep the extra floor pieces somewhere safe. With special precision, a hardwood floor can be repaired in any condition or spot. The pieces of hardwood floor will be removed with a certain hand held tool. If there is glue or nails, they will be removed or scraped to give a fresh new surface. A piece of hardwood floor will be cut to a perfect fit and then adhered to like new.

INSTALLATION METHODS

   Hardwood Floor Installation is achieved by gluing, nailing, or floating. Which ever Hardwood Flooring technique is used, the end result will be the same, "A happy customer with a great looking Hardwood floor."

LAMINATE FLOOR INSTALLATION

LAMINATE FLOORING REPAIR

   Laminate Flooring can be installed over most existing floors. (Hardwood, Tile, Vinyl, Concrete) One part of the Laminate Flooring installation process is selecting a solid sound underlayment (pad). Laminate Flooring is then Installed (floated) over the underlayment with base boards and the installation of moldings to transition the laminate to the other flooring. Your laminate floor installation is then completed, and ready to be lived on.
 

   Laminate flooring repair is a different procedure than hardwood floor repairs. Depending on the location of the damaged piece, the procedure varies. If the damaged piece of laminate is a few rows in from the wall, the rows will be removed and the damaged piece will be taken out and replaced with a good one. The rows then installed the same way they came out.

   If the damaged piece is in the center of the room, away from the wall, the piece will be cut out with precision, and the new piece will be placed in with wood glue and intricate cutting to place the new board in. It will appear nothing was ever wrong with your floor.

CARPET FLOOR REPAIR

   Our carpet floor rep will discuss with you the different types of carpet and padding, so you can make an educated decision on the type of carpet flooring and pad you would like for your home. After your selection of carpet and pad, You will be scheduled for installation. Your carpet floor installation will be a smooth and easy experience. We will work with your schedule. If you need us to install your carpet flooring right away, we will make it happen. If you need a break during the installation, for furniture, or just to re group, that won't be a problem. We will come back to finish your carpet flooring installation later, when you're ready for us. If you need us for carpet repair, we'll take care of that too.

   Carpet floor repair is very common and is performed for many reasons. The two most common repair jobs that we handle are  carpet stretching and patching.

   Carpet floor re-stretching is needed when the carpet has a buckling with a wave looking bump that is apparent to the eye, and in some cases the carpet flooring causes tripping. When using the re-stretching method, we use a power stretcher to stretch the excess carpet floor towards a corner followed by trimming and ducking it in, thus completing the stretching process. Our carpet floor rep will answer any questions you may have regarding your carpet flooring.

   You may want to consider "Carpet Patching" as a solution to your carpet flooring repair. Patching a piece of carpet floor is performed when a spot or stain has become something you just cannot live with. If you do not have a piece of carpet left over in which to patch the area, then we can take a piece from your closet and finish patching the spot. We'll cut the stained piece out and perfectly cut a new piece of carpet and install "patch it" in its place. We'll always do the best repair job when matching and patching your carpet floor. Using hot tape and a seaming iron, your new piece of carpet is seamed, for a clean great looking finish.
